Ways to Give
There are many ways to make a planned gift to Faith In Action. Contact your financial advisor to discuss which is right for you. Below are three frequently used planned giving strategies. Contact the WFIA office (757-258-5890) to discover other methods.
Bequests (Wills and Trusts)
If you plan to make a charitable gift through your will, please think it through carefully, then meet with your attorney. Tell him or her exactly what you want to do. Be as clear as possible in describing what you want to do.
Charitable Gift Annuities
A gift annuity offers you a way to leverage your support of Faith In Action while receiving lifetime income payments through an annuity. You may also benefit from favorable treatment of capital gains and estate tax savings.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
Charitable Remainder Trusts come in two basic flavors – the Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust (CRAT) and the Charitable Remainder Uniturst (CRUT). Click the “Learn More” button to see which one might be right for you.
